Responsibilities of LOTO specialists
- Responsible for PDCA process of the whole project
- Set up LOTO management process and project implementation team and lead the team to ensure:
- Each device requiring Lockout Tagout has a detailed Lockout Tagout procedure; (sign)
- Each plant maintains a list of LOTO authorized personnel;
- All authorized personnel obtain standardized Lockout tagout required locks;
- All authorized and affected personnel receive appropriate Lockout Tagout training;
- Employees can obtain the current valid version of the Lockout Tagout program;
-Carry out qualification verification audit and routine inspection of authorized personnel;
- Reinforce the implementation of Lockout Tagout system, and enforce the company's disciplinary rules for violators.
The responsibilities
-Coordinate the Lockout Tagout project;
- Assist LOTO experts in training general methods of Lockout Tagout;
- Regular spot checks;
- specific Lockout tagout files (e.g. LOTO tags) for the company's general LOTO program files and for each device
Regularly check records and training records for archiving control.
Conduct annual Lockout Tagout project evaluation and update as necessary.
Responsibilities of the design and installation department

Specific Lockout Tagout requirements must be stated in the technical
specification and risk analysis prior to contract signing to ensure
equipment has Lockout Tagout functionality;
- Require the outsourcer to follow the Lockout Tagout procedure during on-site service.
